When claims are submitted through API, clearinghouse level validation is conducted at real-time. The response contains information related to the status of the transaction and identifying information. Additional information on clearinghouse responses can be found on our Developer Portal. Payer validation information comes in the form of Responses and Reports. The Claims Responses and Reports v2 API provides a direct connection to your mailbox where payers will send their final claims responses and reports. Use this API to access your mailbox for all the files containing complete information about claim payments, claim status updates, and other communications regarding revenue cycles and adjudication from the payer. The amount of time for these responses can vary from payer to payer.
