Where can I find payer information to include in the “Create an Estimate of Out of Pocket Costs” request?

After enrolling to Change Healthcare solutions to help manage your revenue cycle, you will have access to Change Healthcare's ConnectCenter where you can find the up-to-date payer information.

The payer information that Care Cost Estimator needs to estimate patient’s out-of-pocket costs is ID and ID Domain.

Your users will provide their insurance information including insurance carrier name and other insurance information to you. You must map the insurance carrier name to payer ID and include the information in the API request.

You can find the payer ID information in ConnectCenter. Please also specify the ID Domain as “TradingPartnerService”.
